Aufgaben und Anforderungen
The Performance Speciatlist is responsible for tuning all existing and new networks, hardware, software and other applications, in order to ensure optimal performance of our clients low latency infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Revise Linux kernel to monitor and improve data performance.
Develop performance measurement tools.
Initiate necessary measures to ensure optimal performance.
Collect deep analysis of and report on performance data.
Identify bottlenecks and potential areas for optimization.
Provide ongoing ideas, solutions and recommendations for producing stronger results.
Resolve both current & future performance issues to ensure smooth running of all applications.

Knowledge and skill requirements

University degree in Computer Science or similar path of study
Expert in various Operating Systems and their internal workings (Unix, Linux, Solaris, Windows)
Expert in scripting (Perl, Python, bash)
Experience with network tuning
Good understanding of networked systems (TCP/IP, UDP, IP multicast)
Knowledge of Java and/or C/C++
Experience with SQL (MySQL)
Experience with Wireshark/Ethereal, vmstat, sysstat
Flexible, proactive, hands-on mentality, able to work independently in a team setting
